Another favorite Betty... Grim Natwick (Who also helped animate Popeye and Snowwhite..) made her in ca. 1930 inspired by the original it-girl Clara Bow and Helen Kane who was the original boop-oop-a-doop girl and sang 'I wanna be loved by you' a long time before Marilyn Monroe did...That curtain is amazing!
I love the slow wavy moves from the old cartoons.
I always though that Betty and Popeye should have hooked up...
